What is Trias MagCarta?

Trias is a Full-stack decentralized trusted cloud infrastructure and ecosystem for all-scale, general-purpose, and enterprise-ready applications. It has a fine and delicate design, a talented and solid team with top-notch academia and industrial background. Trias is a complex of enterprise products, solutions, and a sophisticated sustainable token economy, that is fueling industrial clients' innovation globally.

Trias is composed of three layers: Leviatom, Prometh and MagCarta:

  • Leviatom is an integration of Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) and Heterogeneous Consensus Graph, a graph computing algorithm similar to Hashgraph or DAGs. It can serve as the underlying '-1 layer' for other public chains, including Ethereum and Hyperledger.

  • Prometh is a combination of formal verification and DevSecOps methodologies to achieve traceable and verifiable general-purpose software development.

  • MagCarta is a consensus-oriented programming paradigm to achieve embed and self-defined consensus strategy for high-order enterprise DApps.

MagCarta supports the execution of smart contracts. It organizes Prometh trusted software components and sends them to Leviatom for execution. It achieves decentralized enterprise-grade smart contracts to support the implementation of complex application semantics. In MagCarta contracts, developers get rewarded for providing services to their end-users and are paid in Trias token (TRIAS) or in their native tokens, which are issued on the Trias platform. Developers share part of their revenues to the participants of the Leviatom network and Prometh framework for purchasing trusted software components and computing resources.

Trias is different from most of the public chains that follow bottom-up development route of ‘releasing main network’ - ‘publish development frameworks’ - ‘build ecosystem applications’. Whereas, Trias adopts a top-down strategy of ‘building MagCarta ecosystem applications’ - ‘publishing Prometh application framework’ and ‘release Leviatom main network’.

At the first stage, Trias team will deeply participate, support or incubate MagCarta ecosystem applications. MagCarta application service providers will carry the super-node responsibilities of Leviatom and Prometh. Specifically, the early computing devices of the Leviatom network and the software system of the Prometh framework will first be provided by MagCarta application service providers. These genesis MagCarta ecosystem applications build-up the genesis Leviatom network and Prometh software stack.

At the second stage, when multiple MagCarta applications have been built, Trias will release the Prometh application framework and start the Prometh mining mechanism. This will initially attract developers to build and create value-added software services for the existing MagCarta applications.

At the third stage, with further prosperity of the MagCarta ecosystem, Trias will release the Leviatom network and start the Leviatom mining mechanism. This will finally help in recruiting more computing equipment to further scale the entire network.

The top-down and demand-driven development model will effectively promote the cold-start and further development of the Trias ecosystem that is especially facilitated by the strong commercialization capacity of the Trias ecosystem companies.

Trias defines MagCarta applications as Decentralized SaaS (DSaaS) and the complete Trias software platform supporting DSaaS operation as TriasForce. The third-parties operating TriasForce and DSaaS applications form Trias Alliance will receive further support from Trias Foundation. The following sections will further explain the economic value of DSaaS, the structure of Trias Alliance and the economic model of the MagCarta Layer.
